I’m not going to lie, my preferences in rap are limited and pretty uninformed. I am sure there are many great songs I’m not familiar with, because they didn’t break into my music bubble.
Obviously, Eminem did.
Intriguing lyrics, musical tension, the buried piano lines… I know this song was a big hit, a couple of months as the top song on Billboard back in 2002, etc. But I’m not sure this song makes the rounds in a lot of music bubbles today. Maybe I’m wrong. It won a Grammy and an Oscar and has a huge Wikipedia page. It isn’t under known.
