If Jeff Goldblum wasn’t already an accomplished actor, he might be remembered as the title of this song.
I’m finding Mattiel an easy listen. This cut is from the 2022 album, Georgia Gothic. There’s a whole lot of influences on this album. All the cuts are relatively short – 3 and a half minutes at most. But I swear when I listen to it, I hear a little bit of Neko Case here vocals, a little Chrissie Hynde there vocals. It’s interesting.
Also, the video is an interesting slice of Goldblum/Geena Davis films. It’s a bit of a late 1980s time travel.
