Keep Me Turning is a gem from the 1970s from Pete Townshend and Ronnie Lane. Not many know who Ronnie Lane was, but he was part of the very influential Small Faces and Faces in the 1960s and early 1970s. Most folks know who Pete Townshend is, and Townshend was the original reason I bought the album Rough Mix when it came out.
During the creation of Rough Mix, Lane was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. He continued to record and perform as his health would allow, but he was done playing publicly by 1992. He passed away in 1997.
