One of my favorite Neil Young songs. Subtle string instrumentation work married to Young’s plaintive voice. James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt are singing in the background, and it is Taylor on banjo.
It was recorded on my 12th birthday. Now that I’m an old man as well, I think I’ll remember that when my birthday pulls around each year.
