I’ve seen Sarah McLachlan live three times. Twice in the past two years. She just seems to be getting better, especially her vocals.
The song Fear contains singing that is so delicate and ethereal that you’d think it wouldn’t be easily recreated in live performance. Easily it probably is not but Sarah McLachlan has nailed it both times I’ve seen her in the past two years. The song is the highlight of the show as far as I’m concerned, and this is an artist with plenty of highlights to share. But to hear her belt out these high notes so cleanly gets everyone standing. This song alone is worth the price of admission.
