Not every one of these songs is going to have a story. Staind’s “Outside” does not. I vaguely remember hearing Staind in the early 2000s as I drove our son to daycare and back on XPN, and really like this song. But I don’t have any distinct memories about it. It’s just a well done song that deserved all the play it received at the time, and deserves some more now.
