So, first of all, Slow Death is just a great guitar song, period. It isn’t the original creation of The Dictators, but as far as I’m concerned they own this song. Off the album Bloodbrothers, which is my favorite of the short recording history of The Dictators, there is great work by Ross the Boss throughout and particularly on this song.
Shout out to the Flamin’ Groovies for coming up with this in the early 1970s. Awesome song, you may like their version better.
