I love the album “Fox Confessor Brings the Flood” by Neko Case. I enjoy introducing it to people, since strangely it was missed by a lot of folks in 2006 and 2007.
This isn’t even my favorite song on the album, but it’s a fine tune and I could see it being done as a soul ballad or a hard rock version as well. It’s VERY flexible.
