The older I get, the more fitting and relieving the song “Nature’s Way” by Spirit becomes to me.
The lyrics are simple and yet philosophically on target for those of us aligned with the sentiment and particularly once in the fourth quarter of life. We’re mortal no matter how much we ignore that fact, and nature is reminding us of this all the time, you just have to be aware.
As it should be – and no reason to disregard or avoid it.
