There are a lot of great R.E.M. songs, and I’m sure I’ll be posting more here eventually.
But if you haven’t listened to the Dead Letter Office album, you’ve probably missed this one. And it’s great. There’s a write up about the song at the R.E.M. Project Blog about how it failed to make any of their major albums.
I’ve seen R.E.M. three times live, and they played it in the second show I saw them, but I had to wait for it to show up on CD.
