In some ways, it feels like Tori Amos hasn’t quite gotten the acclaim her music deserves because it came in the midst of a gigantic female musician recording explosion in the 1990s. Of course, you could say that about Sarah McLachlan or Alanis Morrisette or Natalie Merchant or Annie Lennox or the list goes on and on.
