The first concert I ever bought tickets to was a UFO/Rush show in Stockton, California in 1977. I went for UFO, at the time I was not a big fan of Geddy Lee’s voice. (Just as an FYI, UFO was great and I went on to see them two more times.)
It was Rush’s A Farewell to Kings tour. I took a look at historical archives of the set list, and they did NOT play A Passage to Bangkok. I think I would have remembered if they had played it. In the years since 1977 I have grown to be a fan of Rush, have several albums (including 2112) by them, and this song is probably my favorite of theirs.
