So many of the songs I love from this millennia snuck by me without notice when first released. So is true for Pete Yorn’s “Life On A Chain” and I’ve only been enjoying it for the last five years or so.
We had little kids then, and no time for concerts, but I was certainly driving a lot, and I’m sure I was listening to XPN on the radio, and Pete Yorn definitely is something they would play.
But I also had a new car in 2001 with a 6 CD player and when you have as many CDs as I have, you run them a lot. And I did, and I had CDs in the middle console and the glove box and sometimes the door pockets. So this might be how I missed this song.
