You probably haven’t heard the original version of this song. It was covered in the movie soundtrack “Into the Wild” by Eddie Vedder and that version is great.
But I prefer Indio’s version of “Hard Sun”. Indio is actually Gordon Peterson, and this song was part of the Big Harvest album in 1989. Hard Sun was a big hit in Canada but somehow I never heard it in California at the time.
Shame. It is truly a fantastic song.
