Yeah, I love a lot of Oingo Boingo’s music. Danny Elfman was a musical genius for a long, long time. Might still be, I just haven’t heard anything from him in a while.
This song is very representative of the best of Oingo Boingo. Lots of instruments, funky beat, Elfman’s vocals, a nervous energy nearly jumping out of the song.
I see there’s an Oingo Boingo tribute band out there called Dead Man’s Party. Seriously, they should make a journey out to the East Coast, I’d like to see them.
