Sometimes you just have to shrug about how much you enjoy a song.
“Don’t Tell Me You Love Me” by Night Ranger is such a song for me.
“Goddamn right it’s a beautiful day.”
So, I love this song Funky Céilí, it’s just so catchy. Black 47 had a hit on their hands in 1993, and I kind of thought we’d be hearing a lot more of them going forward.
The first time I heard “I’m Shipping Up To Boston” by the Dropkick Murphys was in the 2006 film “The Departed” (which is a great flick btw).
Maybe this isn’t Pearl Jam’s greatest song. But I think it’s their catchiest.
It may take some folks a while to appreciate Nelly Furtado’s voice on this song, it can come off a bit nasally. But she sings with a swagger (and dances the same in the video)
Love and her band Hole were no musical hanger-ons. They had some great songs.
